Congratulations to our PT STEM robotics team the Otter Bots!

We are so proud to announce that members of our PT STEM Club won the Rising All-Star Award at the First Lego League robotics competition in Oak Harbor last weekend!

OCEAN, Salish Coast and Blue Heron students all competed on teams this year. The Otter Bots took home the Rising All-Star Award which recognizes a team showing exceptional potential, growth, and promise, along with strong teamwork, creativity and emerging skills in robotics and problem-solving.

PT STEM coach Everest Ashford also won the Best Coach/Mentor award, nominated by the students. Everest is an alumni of the Lego League robotics programs and has helped out for the past seven years. This was his last year coaching as he is headed off to college.

Thank you to PT STEM non-profit director Gabi Ashford and all the teachers, staff and parents who helped out this season plus our local sponsors!
